I can't believe this city let their downtown be largely demolished for a mall. Eight blocks were cleared in the 1970s of most buildings, very few survived. The mall lasted less than 30 years before closing. Now the mall site is being redeveloped. But I still have to say, they need to do more fixing up in that city!
the a-hole leaders of this town won't be happy until every building in downtown is torn down. They should've started w/city hall and the Chronicle bldg. If you live in Muskegon, do yourself a favor, MOVE before it's too late.

I remember the Muskegon Hotel when Hussein "Sam" Rukieh owned it in the 60s. Beautiful old building, three stories tall.
