Hi Train Buds! I hope you all had a GREAT Christmas! This is a video of my new Western Maryland 4-6-2 Pacific Steam Engine 30-1555-1, wood sided reefer cars and wood sided caboose. I know that Pacifics ran mainly high speed passenger but they also ran high speed freight at times. Since I love freight trains I went with freight : )

I still need to add scenery around the track down the strip in front of of Main St.

Thanks for watching and I wish you all a VERY Blessed, Happy, & Healthy 2012!

  • I want your whistle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • @BandOfan88 LOL...Thank you very much for watching and commenting! I love that whistle to : ) It has a very unique sound that you really don't find with MTH Steamers. That is the first time I ever heard that one. MTH usually puts the same whistle in multiple locomotives with different roadnames. I hope they start adding more variety with the railking line. I have swapped sound sets with the DCS consumer loader. It works well. Thanks again for stopping by! Have a great day!

  • @bravosixxx Unfortunately, MTH doesn't have the sound set in their loader. Is that an original? If not, could you tell me what it came from? I have an NYC Mowhawk with the standard freight conversion sounds and It's getting old.

  • @BandOfan88 Hi friend, Yes, the sounds are original. Hit the MTH website and put in 30-1555-1 and download the sound file then do the swap and you will be good to go! I hope this helps. Have a great night!

  • Asome train sounds.

  • @mch257 Thank you very much! I appreciate the nice comment! Have a great day!

  • @WMRRFAN6573 Thank you very much Mike! I appreciate the kind words! I am real glad to be back in O and you are right...MTH has stepped it up with their Imperial line. I really like the whistle on this one also. Happy New Year to you too!

  • That is an awesome looking engine. I love the whistle. Looks like MTH has really stepped up the Imperial line. I've got to pick one of these up, especially since it's in the W.M. scheme. Thanks for sharing this. Nice to see you back in O scale. The layout looks great.

    Have a happy new year!

    Mike

  • @bradstrains Thanks Bradley! I appreciate the comment bud!

  • Man when you first blasted the whistle for forward direction it sounded AWESOME! ( 0:51 )
