Chatfield State Park located south of Denver, it took us 30 minutes to get there. They have a nice bicycle road, huge lake, many hiking trails, and most importantly the pond for dogs to hang around! The video shows most of the pond, but it is actually little bigger than it shows, part of the lakes are connected to other part of the pond. This is Chewy and Koros first time to visit Chatfield, and they probably made 100 of doggie friends just hanging around in the lake for the morning. One of the things I thought was neat was there were fish jumping and saying hi from the lake right next to us and the dogs. You get to meet with different dogs when walking around the pond, so kind of fun to see many good boys and girls but some doggies just want to jump into the pond so watch out for jumpers!
Since the water was a little bit cold this morning and many doggie friends were watching Koro, he seemed not that excited to show off how much he can walk. It has been almost one and a half years since his IVDD, paralysis, and compared to last summers hydrotherapy, his walking is definitely improving. Walking longer distances and even climbs up the hill on his own (which is not shown in the video). He also has much better balance when he walks.
