Kera O'Bryon introduces Johnny Trudell, Buddy Skipper, and Billy Scott performing a Beach Music Medley. Johnny Trudell plays a trumpet solo on "Summertime For Me." Buddy Skipper sings "Boggie The Joint." And Billy Scott sings and testifies on "Hey Hey, The Blues Is All Right." John X. Aragona served as the Executive Producer; Susan B. Donovan and Ron Dunn shared Producer credits; Ron Dunn served as Director; and Kera O'Bryon was the Host of the show. Pat Curtis, of Virginia Beach, VA, was the contractor of the BMA Orchestra.
Thanks for posting this video. I just heard Johnny Trudell 2 weeks ago at the 1st Annual Jazz Festivall, Elks Club, Plymouth MI, as well as the Ragtime Street Festival, The Henry Ford, Dearborn MI last month.
I have seen and heard up close - Ernie Carson, Louis Armstrong, Harry James, and Clark Terry. Johnny Trudell is the best!!!
I plan to video Johnny when he is performing with his own band.
Anybody got any more Trudell clips?
