Zune Touch Officially Announced - Fall 2009 Release

In a recent interview, Robert Bach revealed that Zune will most likely NOT have a future with phones as they are a "...very personal thing. Different people want different types of phones." However, there was a suddle hint that 'touch' may be a possibility. Not as an actual confirmation, but rather, stating the inevitability of progress from screen to touch-screen.

"Take the device independent for a second and just assume that over time where there's a screen, touch will be part of it. It's not going to matter what the product line is. You're going to see it be a cornerstone of the work we do."

But now it seems less cornerstone, but, rather, around-the-corner!

This video shows some leaked images of the Zune Touch, previously believed to be revealed as mock-ups until a very reassuring ad (the first image shown in the video) from the Zune website itself was discovered.

So it seems as if Bach was right about not necessarily having a phone, but rather progressing in the world of touch-screen. Take a look at the browser and messenger features! And the prices are pretty manageable compared to the iTouch. What do you guys think? I'm sold.

In case you guys can't see the first ad it says that the Zune Touch will have an outstanding battery life of 48 hours after just 2 hours of charging, improved Wi-fi, 80 or 120gb HD (sorry, no flash :[), IE mobile web browser, and windows live messenger. While i agree, I don't know why ur complaining on this video. I mean, this isn't even the real Zune. These are photoshopped. Maybe complain somewhere more relevant.
