Que c'est beau les oeuvres de jeunesse des compositeurs du XXème siècle ! Voilà la Nuit Transfigurée et le "Im Sommerwind" de Charles Ives.
Il y a un peu de la symphonie pour orgue de Saint-Saens dans cette symphonie.

This is in my opinion one of the better versions of this early piece of Ives.
It is best that you listen to it with your eyes closed. Wonderfull collection of Americana pictures but I think the music must be allowed to speak for itself. It is the heart that is speaking and with music it comes through the ears, not the eyes.
