And now we finish Dr Manhattan's origins. Comments welcome and don't forget to at least visit http://www.WatchmenComicMovie.com if you are the slightest bit interested in either the Watchmen comic or the film adaptation.

  • i wonder if this video was made before the movie cos they use the same music (war cry) at the same scene. i wonder who copied who.

  • Do you mean Ride of the Valkyries ( 1:44 onwards)? Well as you can see I made this 7 months before the film's release, but it's not a case of anyone copying anyone. Zack Snyder was using this track as stand-in music for the scene at the time, though he indicated he probably wouldn't be using it. I thought that was a missed opportunity, and I was pleased that he used it in the end too.

  • @AllyourbasicGerrard yeah i did mean ride of the valkyries. i thought it was called war cry (thats what is called on my ipod anyway) how did you know that snyder was using it as stand in music?

  • I don't know why it won't let me post links on my own video page. Replace the [x] with a dot: chud[x]com/articles/articles/15570/1/SET-VISIT-PREVIEW-WATCHMEN/Page1.html

  • never!

  • Spocko1088 said it all: Excellent Wagner "Apocalypse Now" nod and a fascinating mixture of music reflecting the conflicting perspective of time and space that Dr. Manhattan experiences. I'm looking forward to seeing more Origin Profiles!

  • good use of "Dead!" very nice, love the series.

  • I like how the music turns loud and Jon is like blake is interesting I've never met anyone so deliberately amoral
