  • @TheWacoKid1963 i use that much tape... it takes longer for me to focus on cudding an edge with no drips rather then to just tape and smudge away.. and what if the ceiling is textured or has a rounded edge... maybe your just one hell of a painter

  • if you have to use that much tape get a pro in to do the job

  • how can you tell people to paint like this.....this is not how you paint at all......

  • We call 'popcorn texture' Artex.

  • never roll a popcorn ceiling unless u know for sure it has been covered before with a good prime sealer such as an oil base type like Killz or cover stain . when the texture becomes wet from rolling it will loosen and sometimes come off on your roller in large hunks if its not prime sealed. i always spray ceilings.

  • I have the same brush, it's fantastic, not goo great for ceilings though.
