@maxinDetroit YES!!!!!! I had that album back in the early 1970`s this was like the second track on the album with Milenberg Joys being the first. Back then I noticed if you turned the balance control to one or the other speaker, you could get the one channel without the reverb, the reverb was only on the other channel. These guys were great

Sorry, I was wrong. I think you're right. I remember some bass saxophonists from that era like Vince Giordano and Adrian Rollini (who also played goofus)

Yes I have that lp. Before the MCA lp the 2 sides the band made were on a Decca lp with "enhanced for stereo." Those bad phony stereo lp versions were all I had until a friend made a tape of his original 78 for me. I always wanted to hear these great sides without that reverb added and I thought others would too.
