Here's an older Made in Japan Alvaarez Model 5054 12 String guitar for you to check out. It has a Bill Lawrence Soundhole pickup installed (that could be easily removed). There are no effects...I'm plugged straight into the Marshall AS-50R Acoustic amp and there was no editing done afterwards. What you see is what you get. If I forgot anything, just ask...

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Joyful, Peaceful, Prosperous New Year to all! Happy Hanukah to my own family and friends and Happy "whatever holiday it is you might celebrate" to anyone or anything I missed. I am thankful I run my own business and can say what I want to say...what I am led by the Holy Spirit who lives in me to say...we should all be able to celebrate our diversity yet also celebrate and understand what the true meaning of Christmas is...the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ...our (anyone who chooses to believe...John 3:16) Savior.

Thanks for watching and feel free to rate it and leave comments!

  • Oh one more thing...I got this alvarez 5038 vintage guitar. The 'alvarez' name is spelled out on the headstock. It's got a horizontal 4" tight crack on the back and a 1" radius ding. What do you think it would be worth like this? I'm asking you because you obviously sell on ebay. Anything will help. Thanks.

  • Hi and sorry for the delay in answering...I didn't see it until just now...must have got caught by my spam filter or something. Does the crack go through to the wood...it's probably just a finish crack as that guitar is all laminates...I would guess about $200 sight unseen. Mine sold for about $300.00...send me some pictures if possible...

  • what is that song at the beginning, sounds very good

  • Thanks...just a little something I've been messing around with...it will eventually be a complete song...when I can find the time...

  • I have this guitar, story. my granfather was in an airport, and a guitar was going around the belt with luggage and nobody took this guitar. so my grandfather waited and took the guitar. this was over 30 years ago. he gave it to a cousin who played guitar eventually, since it was just sitting around really. years later, since i'm taking up guitar, my cousin gave the guitar to me knowing it was my grandfathers. plus, my cousin had a stroke and was paralyzed so can't play. this SAME guitar i have.

  • Wow, you play really good. I have the same guitar as well out here in Oregon. Bought in 89' Do you know where I could pick up another, electric pickup? I have moved so many times, I have lost it..(The electric device that goes inside)..Awesome playing also!!

  • I've got that same guitar. I love it. It's got great tone. Nice playing, by the way.

  • I checked out other videos that you posted and I must say you got skills. I'll be there someday. Cheers.

btw...when you get a chance tab this sucker out so i can learn it. :)

  • I like the song you were playing in the beginning of this video.

I cant wait til you get the time to play your own stuff..
