  • Considering the U.S. national debt, the war, health care, tax breaks for the rich, the decline of the middle class, the highest incarceration rate in the western world, low literacy rate etc etc - why is the sex life of consenting adults considered an election issue?

  • Like we said in the video, it's been a smoke screen to take people's minds off of the real problems

  • Gay Marriage. It's something that I would love to be able to do someday in this country. But the bigot and haters run this plaec. And want to take away our rights as humans. They claim religion as the reason why they want to ban it. But this country has laws. Separation of Church and state. The last time I checked, America was for everyone. Not just straight people.Canada and Europe did it, and "god" didn't strike them down. Why isn't it good enough for America? We should be the leader in trends

  • Well said, thanks for giving our video the time to watch and reply

  • "global amendment, all 50mstates." <- America isn't "global" or the world there's 500,000,000 people Europe we all share the same currency (called the Euro).

  • I should have used a different word, by saying 'Global' i didn't mean the physical "Globe" of the earth I meant it as a term for encompassing all 50 states

  • kind of ironic that "christians" consider bigotry to be a virtue. "christians" consider an entire group of people to be unworthy of entering into the state marriage contract or rearing children.

  • As a gay, tax paying American I should have the same rights as you. The guy in the white t said we should get wills done and lawyers involed. You did not have to do that when you got married so y should we? I have been with my partner for over 5 years and there is no common law in the state were i live. What am I suposed to do if something would happen to one of us? And gay Americans getting married is a big issue because it has been around longer then war or gas problems.

  • Common law marriage does not allow a partner to have access to insurance, or as the video mentions, rights after death of the partner....how about being considered next of kin while making health decisions when a partner is not capable?

I think the guy on the left thinks deeper about the issue than the other guy in terms of how it effects couples in the real world.

  • Gay marriage isn't the issue, morality is. If I want someone who I think has morals, I'll vote for that person. If I want someone who wants gays to be allowed to marry, I'll vote for that person. It's about morality, not gay marriage.

  • I disagree with the guy in the white shirt. He makes it sound like equal rights will be some kind of privilege given to gay people and it's in a secondary place on the country's "list of priorities". I want to vote for a candidate that addresses ALL the problems with the SAME importance and I believe that if the candidate has not a decent proposal for gay equality, why should I think she/he will do well in other aspects? Also I don't think gay marriage needs much of a budget to be implemented.
