This is a lionel postwar Santa Fe 2343 that was in a house fire! Pretty intresting but very sad. :(

You could probably take the shell off order a new one work on that vertical worm drive pullmor take it all apart clean the brushes out put some oil in it and maybe work on the E-unit and I bet it'd work. Very sad though don't let it go to waste.

I bet if you re-wire and oil it up it would run fine , plus do a little shopping on e bay for a nice postwar shell .
