  • @norfolkdash9 Sorry about the delay in replying....yeah it's bad. That carb really sucks the air in. You will run the risk of pulling dirt, bugs, etc in without the pipe that goes between the filter and the carb. Go to "Davenport tractor.com" you'll find what you need on that site.

  • @kelly806

Oh ok, But isn't it bad for it not to a filter or something?

  • @norfolkdash9 Thats for the air intake. I don't have one on my Model M either....

  • How come there is an opening on the carb? Isn't a pipe supposed to go there?

  • will this tractor get painted and the hood put on it?

  • nice tractor. we've got a 55 model 40t sounds exactly the same, but the head gasket leaks a little, we gotta do some work to her.

  • man there isnt anything that sounds better than that

  • You are right you never forget the sound I have one as well, I say I would not sell it but ya never know keeps the 5 acers well shaped I have a bucket dump for the back and when it goes a diggin the sound is unreal like ya said never forget it.
