i have 2 questions would the TI-99 work on today's tv, and did the TI-99 play any of the Atari 2600 games

I bought mostly all the modules and voice synt. In the day it was a good system. I gave it to my exwife so, my son who was 3 would have it. Your right it had some educational games. I wrote program for it. My EX sold it all for $50.00 at a garage sell. 4 months later.

Those TI joysticks are aweful. Only the 5200's was worse!

We just pulled two of them out of storage with speech synthesizers. I liked playing Parsec, Munch Man, Alpiner, and it even had a chess game.

I used to have this. Also I had the HUGE floppy disk drive.

I have 2 of them. it also has a monitor that came out for it afterwards. Also it has a voice box (thats what it is called) It was a great system. I still have over 12 games for it including parsec and munch man which is of course a rip off from pac man. good all the same

I had one back in 1983. My old man got it for me at a department store in Miami for $49.99. He then pissed me off and I broke the hell out of it.
Nice video. I have a question though. I have the oppertunity to possible get a TI-99/4A with disk drives and speech synthesizer and games and a possible expansion slot and adopter to have up to three carts in at one time and joysticks and everything needed to hook it up for Free, absolutly for nothing and there is nothing wrong with it. Would you consider it a good deal and would you take it or in you opinion is it not worth the time.
