Nice work Miles! I don't know how much of that was claymation - actually moving the clay - and how much was moving and rotating the image of the wheel in AE or something - but all very seamless and polished. That's pro work! And it adds up to a great little mini-doc - I love the "horse-drawn chariot with awesome sun roof"!

It's true that a lot of the video was made using my editing software (like the early auto mobile) i just animated a photograph of it.
But the caveman, stone wheel, wheelbarrow, chariot, covered wagon, and bicycle were all animated using stop motion. but i kind of like to blend the two art forms of computer animation with stop motion to create a kind of different style of animation.
(i'm still just calling it stop motion, though! :P)
