The Rolling Stones are an internationally ... all » popular English musical group that was instrumental in spearheading the British Invasion of the early 1960s. Formed in London in 1962 by Brian Jones, and eventually led by the songwriting partnership of singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, the group began playing American Blues, R&B and Rock n' Roll, and later played other genres including country, psychedelia, Reggae, and disco. The Stones' image of unkempt and surly youth is one many musicians still emulate. During their 1969 American tour, the Stones were introduced and have often since been referred to as "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World." They have released a total of 29 albums of original work, numerous compilations and retrospectives, and had 37 top-10 singles. In 1989, The Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2004 they were rated #4 in Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

  • @cogscretin I was 13 , still love it

  • love this little gem. so many good songs the stones have some get lost it seems.

  • Gee, I wonder where Prince got that high pitched singing idea from?

  • When I feel worried I start thinking about this song.

  • wayne perkins plays the solo

  • Billy Preston on the keyboards...

  • @biglads4tw Really? Turn it up and listen to it several times (don't watch the video) and see if it doesn't grow on you. I find it a heck of a lot more soulful than a lot of stuff they've done, especially Mick. Keith's b/g vocals and the guitar solo gotta be worth something to ya!

Then again, I loved this song the first time I heard it (I got this record for Christmas '81 when I just turned 12).

  • @bspadgett That whole second side is overlooked (save for Waiting on a Friend). I wish one could hear this instead of fucking Start Me Up or Satisfaction...like we need to hear those anymore!

  • This isn't all that good
