why the heck would I delete a file and still be on the system? Am deleting it for a reason !!!
I don't want 1000s of copies made so someone can access it when am not around.

*Pokes the system restore button.* ohhhhh you mean accidently screw things up? *pokes the restore point button* Been in windows for a long time now.... Also, windows comes with a synch tool, it will back up files to where ever you tell it to. Using windows brief case you can synch files between two computers, extremely easily. There is also networking and about 50 other ways you can do what time machine does. Difference? Spinning pinwheel of death not included. Oh, its also customizable.

Why is the .net frame work not relevant? It is purely there in order to make it easier to install things, not more difficult. Instead of making it harder for software develoeprs windows said, "Lets pull all the crap they need on the computer so they have to do less writting, meaning install files are smaller!" very good idea, but has nothing to do with viruses. So there you have it, windows are susceptible because nothing has changed and nothing is hidden. Also, users are stupid.

@yupperslupper2 Actually, thats not true, there is a competition to hack Safari, hasn't been done. Also, apple keeps their development top-secret and have their developers sign confidentiality agreements with the company. They take a lot of steps to prevent their software from being susceptible. Additionally, Microsoft hasnt deviated from the same design since Windows 95 (ME is the only exception) making it more susceptible. Only making the shift to the .net design which is not relevant.
