Domenica 31 maggio 2009: pochi minuti prima del via inizia a piovere; alla partenza Marco Simoncelli si invola al comando, ma poi viene recuperato da Alvaro Bautista e si toccano finendo nella ghiaia. Ne approfitta Mattia Pasini che diventa leader e riuscirà a contenere sino alla fine gli attacchi di Simoncelli, terzo Bautista. -
Sunday 31th May 2009: a few minutes before the race begins to rain; at the start Marco Simoncelli is leader with a large margin, but is then recovered from Alvaro Bautista and touching ending in the gravel. It takes leadership Mattia Pasini to become leaders and be able to contain up to end attacks Simoncelli, Bautista third.

Addio Marco Simoncelli, ho avuto la fortuna di vederlo correre dal vivo nel 2005 (125 cc), nel 2009 (250 cc) e nel 2010 (MotoGP) sempre al Mugello.

SpanishGossipGirl: bautista didn't won the championship, because he spent the first half of last year's season on the ground at some important races, not because of simoncelli, who is by far a much faster and fearless rider. if he wants to win championsips he can't be afraid all the time like. he might not remenber, but he did exactly the same thing to lorenzo in 2007, and nobody cried like he is doing now...

Bautista per me e uno dei più forti piloti del momento ma questo non ti da il diritto di insultare Simoncelli.... nessun pilota butta fuori un altro pilota di proposito Simoncelli e stato solo un po troppo aggressivo comunque forza Alvaro

Simoncelli...que tramposo es. El año pasado si gano fue porque no paro de hacer bestialidades porque no sabe perder y le jodio que bautista(q es el mejor) le pillase y se pusiera por delante. En fin solo espero q algun dia alguien le ponga en su sitio a ese niñato.
