  • @coffunism you have just made my online mate very very happy. He was the one who posted light in darkness and was lamenting the fact that there was no full length version. So thank you very much :~)

  • @riseup20twelve Ha! Yeah, there was only a 1.30 version available on line, so I thought I had to get on the case!

  • @francotron2000 I used to be really harsh about lower quality Drum 'n' Bass producers cos I was so spoilt by all the Virus stuff, but I've become more open minded about 'production' over the years!

  • @francotron2000 It depends on use of the word Producer. Yes they are not technically advanced, but I find the structure of some of the later tracks on that album really interesting in the way that they evolve and keep developing throughout, which is a rare thing in dance music. I don't think it's fair to judge music from one scene against something from another on its quality of production, if so you could write off the entire Grime scene.

  • @Despicable So I listened to Insides and I have to say it hasn't dated well, compared to Timeless by Goldie released at the same time, it's amateur day I'm afraid. If that's their best work then I think it's fair to say they are totally mediocre dance music producers and they haven't really innovated anything interesting in the genre.

  • @DespicableOne ok i'll give a listen, thanks for not unleashing the fury!

  • @francotron2000 Check out the Insides album. If you don't like that, then fair enough.

  • @DespicableOne I just think they're overrated, I love Chime but other than

that I've never heard anything that really impressed me. compared to YMO they're very basic.

  • @francotron2000 I don't rate this track, but that is a ridiculous statement to make.

  • this has none of the finesse of the original. Orbital are not very good producers.

  • Thanks for posting this - have just had an embarrasing dance round my living room!
