On January 13, 2010, my daughters dad, who is on court compliance, got a sitter for our 2yr old daughter and went to a friends house. At that friends house, we smoked meth. I am ashamed of my choice to do this. Back in 1998, I tried meth a handful of times and did not like it. By the time 2010 rolled around, I had forgot how much I didn't like it and tried it again. Its like amoxicillin, I was prescribed it years ago and knew there was a reason I shouldn't take it but recently was prescribed again. I remembered then about the rash and itch I get. On January 14th, the cops came to arrest my daughters dad for a dirty UA from his court complance officer and asked me if I could pass a UA. I guess I am too honest for my own good and fessed up to what I did. They sent in CPS and took both of my children. Since this time, almost a month ago, they have refused to UA me or do a home inspection to reunite the family, as is their job. I have been to court hearings and to a family unity meeting where the asked me where I would want my children permanently placed when the 15mo time period ends and I lose my parental rights. My usage in 1998 was before I ever had children and experimenting. I am a great mother who spends every minute of everyday with my children. My 2yr old, who will be 3 in on March 21st, can say her alphabet, count, knows colors and shapes and is starting to have letter/number recognition skills. I taught her these great skills. They are not abused or neglected in any way. I love my children with all my heart.

  • This story can't be real! I know people who had their daughter taken away from a meth lab and they now have her back after a year of seperation.

The message is good though. Once I got pregnant I stopped doing all the drugs and commited myself to being the best mom I can be.

This story is real. I did get my kids back after nearly 7 months. I had to pay $3000 to a lawyer in order to get them back. Believe me it is a sad world we live in. There reasoning was unstable home environment. I was laid off from a seasonal job just one week before, and had been making efforts to find new employment in this down economy. Things are better but that beautiful daughter of mine, is no longer potty trained at 4 yrs old. You can see my children on my channel

  • I had my kids takin almost 2yrs ago due to drugs but they didnt even find any in my home the day my kids were takin. Anyway i do not get to see or talk to my son, his dad got custody and tells me i no longer his mother and have no right to see him. Ive got no papers that say this is true but feel helpless in the situation. As for my daughter after goin to court got visiation of only 4hrs once aweek. My lawyer doesnt even understand how and why they are being so harsh.
