5 stars SEK! Deception = Creme = complexity. People subscribe to a simple lie containing a piece of distorted truth rather than disentangling a thousand 'technical' details. He is not the (anti-christ) massiah, It will be easy to see who is the anti-christ as whoever is worshipped by the whole world will be the anti-christ. The anti-christ must come before the second coming of Christ and satan will deceive the whole world by convincing everyone that the anti-christ is the Christ probably by saving the world by calling a halt to the battle of Armageddon before the world destroys itself as Meggado (Armageddon.) This guy is a perfect patsy. They'll work on making people of weak faith believe he's a Christ. Christians and Muslims will hate him because it would mean to them he's the Anti Christ they've all been warned about. Someone else, who works for the same people (Creme and other New Agers) will step forward and kill Raj Patel, and that someone will be thought of as the "real Christ". It's going to be staged. I'd stop doing interviews and go into hiding if I was Raj Patel. Sounds rather dangerous.

I agree with you, SEK. Whether Patel is in disguise or not, what is most noteworthy about this raging interest is that people are willing to accept anyone other than Jesus Christ as Messiah. God wants us to be patient and long-suffering during these difficult times. He does renew our strength and He is faithful to us. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father but throug Him.

I guess I missed the point of what you were trying to say:P It seemed like you were responding to my original post up top? At any rate, there are probably lot's of people claiming to be Maitreya. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it could be Raj Patel personally, but there is no way of knowing. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed..." (see 2THS 2:7-8)

Have you checked out maitreya . org or . com-something like that-Anyway-theres a photo of a mid 50's white guy with a traditional oriental pony tail-I think raj was just a deception or coincidence-one way or the other-this maitreya is being very well accepted by the masses-I even saw a article on watchtower's website(the jehovahs witnesses) that almost seem to acknowledge this snake!-PS-I still got that DC hat

The mainstream coverage of the Raj Patel story deceptively portrays him only as one who people believe could be the Messiah, when in reality most of the people who have been publicly talking about it have identified him as potentially being the antichrist, myself included. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and men, and the man of sin must be revealed to deceive the world before Jesus Christ returns with his mighty angels.

@truthPacifist Because-in the Bible-it clearly speaks about the 2nd coming of God-But it says that a antichrist MUST and WILL come first-this antichrist WILL bring all religons to unification and also all political structures to one entity-the antichrist will be the capstone on the pyramid...

I'm trying to locate that picture I saw I dunno, 6-8 years ago, that was supposedly Maitreya/Be-tray-ya. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? He was in white robes walking in a crowd. I want to compare it to this Raj Patel character, but funny I can't find it anywhere now that Be-tray-ya is supposedly on the scene.

I agree with you. Patel is not the antichrist. I am not sure if the antichrist is even close. There are some things that need to happen first, but lets say I am wrong, The antichrist will sneak in unnoticed. That is how evil works. If things that were evil showed their true nature, evil would be much less tempting. My advice is to keep up your guard and be on the watch, but dont expect anything.
