I've canoed the Wye down to Monmouth and what a fantastic experience. Would like to do it again one day.

Hi, read your message after my last trip to Ross, may be over during next week to check flat for mail. Thanks for the boating offer, I may film you passing by the bridges and Yat rock if we can get the timing right, on dry land;-)
Whispering gallery effect?

Your camera set-up was quite stable Alan, another trip must now be on the cards with high, clear water to show off all those Autumnal colours in the trees and the water reflections?
With plenty of that soup ;-)

Thanks Mike! I will try to make the trip again during the autumn and you are welcome to come with me, if you wish - or use the boat to film. Promise I won't drink the soup. :)
Actually - did you see the voice film? I have gone over and over that clip and I am 100 percent totally convinced it was something unexplainable. I need to show you this first hand, from the original file, if you find yourself in Ross. It has thrown my logical thought right out of the window!

Those "herons" are cormorants, affectionately known by anglers as "the black death"...

@MrButdim Thanks :) I realized as soon as I saw the film at home and corrected it in text form on the article which goes with the film on Wyenot. It's my eye sight. :)
