  • @LivingDeadVideos It would be sad if Halloween movies end :( I love seeing Halloween movies being made every year or 2 years till I die. I fell in love with Halloween movies since i was 8 (I'm 22 now)

  • @harriettewinslow

Moustapha wasted a lot of talent which could of been put to better use in a new series entirely though. Halloween should have simply ended at 2, and stayed independent as a saga.

  • @LivingDeadVideos Yeah, I'm aware of Halloween II originally being the last one to feature Michael Myers. But ever since he was brought him back in Part 4 after people dislike Part 4 I guess Moustapha Akkad felt introducing new elements into the series would keep it going strong rather than recycle the same element of the first movie. Everything really began with Part 2 with Samhain and the sister angle which then turned to a bloodline angle in Part 4. Parts 4-6 just build off from that.

  • @harriettewinslow They followed Micheal's character closely, but John Carpenter doesn't like anything past Halloween 3.

Myers was never meant to be long lived for a series, he was supposed to be hard to write and this forces him to be very intelligent as a slasher. This concept of mystery, this concept that there is no motive for the killer is the reason the character was created. John thought of it as being truly horrifying for a man of no backstory or evil intentions to be evil itself.

  • @LivingDeadVideos Well Parts 4-6 all follow Parts 1 and 2 continuity-wise so I don't think that would work. As for leading the way to absolute b.s. are you talking about Thorn? I think it was an interesting storyline the series needed because it would have gotten boring with Michael just killing people in every movie. Plus, we were going to need to find about Michael sooner or later especially after the way Part 5 ended. Part 6 took rather a genetic/cloning turn to things but it was still good.

  • @harriettewinslow

But they lead the way to absolute bullshit. While good films, I think it is better to regard them not as sequels, but only re imaginings of the scenario.

  • @LivingDeadVideos I found Halloweens 3-6 to be very watchable, especially Halloween 4. That was a very good sequel.

  • @BirthDayPencil GO TO IOFFER.COM VERY GOOD PRICES.
