  • i dunno if i should spend the extra money on 2gb

  • Whitefoxx32- Don't order a Mac with anything more than the base amount of RAM. It's much cheaper to upgrade after you buy the computer. I paid $70 for 2GB of RAM at Crucial.c0m. Just take a look at the upgrade video I posted to see how easy it is to replace.

  • how do you raise the mhz

  • Bayclin- Think of a computer as your kitchen. When you cook, you have your refrigerator (where food is stored), your counter top (where it is arranged and prepared), and your stove (where it is made into something you want to eat).

Memory is like your countertop. The larger it is, the more food you can prepare at once. At the end of a meal, you still have all the food in your refrigerator, and everything you cooked...regardless of what countertop you used to make it. Nothing will be different.

  • what about 1gb and the250 memory

  • DANG, imagine 4Gbs!!!! (thats what i'm getting)

  • calm down don't shit yourself. But you're right it's 4GB of ram maximum now.

  • yer, they charge an extra $16o for only one more gb when you could buy and put one in for much less!

  • so true, i bought a macbook, and a i bought more later a 2gb ram in 69.00 bucks!

  • no the new ones go up to 4 CHECK THE SITE AGAIN

  • WoW! Thats great performance for 1GB of ram. I've got 2 and its very nice.

  • i am getting a 2.2ghz blackbook with 1 gig of ram and buying 4 gigs from crucial for 160 bucks, it's going to run like a freaking bullet 200 apps at once if i have enough
