Jayne County - Pen & Ink Drawings

I wanted to do something a little bit different this time. Some of you may not know this but Jayne County, renowned Queen of Punk, legendary Stonewall veteran and acclaimed memoirist is a prolific artist, constantly drawing and painting. Her artwork has been seen in different galleries across the USA and most recently at the Transfabulous Visual Arts Group Show in London UK.

I wanted to show you some of her work in detail.

I think Youtube could be a great vehicle for showing artist's work and I think others should use this site to show what we can all do.

Reminds me of Maurice Prendergast, the watercolorist. Tiny, colorful, repeated things.
