@jonbee1982 The 1.4 has a supercharger so it is stupidly torque, read somewhere that produces 250lbft at 2000rpm + (maybe 250 nm, not sure which)

these new engines from VW look exciting but I'm wondering what the torque range is like between the 1.4TSI & the 1.8T, surely the 1.8 would pull better even though they have the same bhp... Really want to drive this SEAT, I love my Ibiza Sport but needs more bhp!
