Compression, repetition, sparsity, sample quality <- those are your problems right there. The idea sounds cool, but needs more beef to it. imo anyway. XP

What I'd like to see is an orchestral version where it starts out soft and then at the end it gets very powerful (and I don't just mean synth strings, cause that's not orchestral).
