@IStanleyDC i personally think they're equals. keith was a master of drum rolls and bonham was amazing with one bass drum. sadly, they're both dead. i bet they do drum competitions in heaven haha

@Kina1981 Indeed, and people also need to remember what a sense of humor Keith had, which he injected into every beat he played. Any perceived sloppiness in this performance may have been, at least in part, executed in jest.

I found it crazy when people say he's a sloppy drummer. Although he isn't the kind of drummer that keeps a beat, he can keep control in what he plays and it sounds good.

People need to see what Kieth was actually trying to show in this solo. if you watch and listen closely you will understand that what he is doing is hitting the drum with one stroke then he moves on to hitting it with two hits in every one stroke till he is hitting three hits per every one stroke of his arm. also you have to imagine that he is doing so with BOTH arms. it may sound messy to some but that's just because of how much is actually being controlled.
