Who here knows how hazardous lithium ion batteries are to the earth? what about nicklenickel metallhydrid? I have no problem with electric cars but when your not seeing what it takes to produce the batteries or looking were they go when they die out, your supposed to dispose of them properly instead i see them go in trashcans->landfills and that i imagine is not good.

@M1CHAE1R0SE, speaking of two cars of equal size, this is the bottom line;
burning an entire tank of Gasoline = "x" emissions by car engine
fully charging a dead EV battery = "y" emissions from Power Plants
if "x" is less than "y", EV's pollute more when being recharged by Power Plants.
if "x" is greater than "y", EV's pollute less when being recharged by Power Plants.
-Solar & Nuclear Power Plants make "y" negligible, so "x" is less than "y" by default.

-then simply type the final numbers from your calculations & show your work, & i will believe you. but, you haven't shown any of your calculations & you haven't shown me any evidence towards this being true..
