It seems like the first time anyone has taken this song seriously. ok, he is one of the finest folk guitarists alive. ok, his sand and honey voice just gets better and better but Smith's real genius lies in his gift for interpretation. He has such a deep understanding of language and a natural musicality that can turn anything into pure art. It doesn't get much better than this.

I agree! I'd never heard the song but do know John's work so I went searching lyrics until I found it.
I think the description should include the name of the song "Death and the Lady"
