@westtexasgurl432 well... if it is a condenser mic you will need to have 48volts of phantom power...on most interfaces or some mics can get that from a battery....if you don't have the mic powered...you wont get sound...i have an interface off amazon.com M-audio fasts track and it has the 48volts so check that out..

You know what really sucks? Steinberg doesnt TELL you that Cubase Studio doesnt come with this...they only tell you that you dont get 128 channels in Studio. I kind of need this today and I just found out i dont have it. sucks.
