John is anything but in the background now, he's heavily into the roots music world and garnering tons of raves for his work. I love H&O and I love John Oates without Daryl Hall, but I don't like Daryl Hall without John Oates.

the 70's Hall and Oates were better than the 80's Hall and Oates. This is one of their best.
