Some relatives and my sister wanted to make a movie. Fun for them, practice for me.

Don't pay attention to the story or anything. It's mainly just for testing the rig.

All color adjustments was done in Color. Skin tones were simply a HSL selection.

  • HAHA ! Your daughters are better than real actors ! No kidding ! But your video is awesome ! The Glidecam make short movies very realistic & professional ! Well Done !

  • @Prods93 Thanks. It's my sister who becomes the first zombie though, and our cousins are the other two. (:

Goofing around like this gives them a laugh in the future for sure. :)

  • Lights out! I hear a witch!

  • Great Job with the effects and and choice of color for short.

    Glidecam is smooth..

  • hahaha, they are good in acting. And the camera work is nice also. well done!

  • haha i love it..

  • We're thinking of selling one of the XL H1 cameras we have, and get a JVC HM700 with a wide angle lens. Will give a similar image to what you see in this video, when used on the Glidecam. The lens we currently have is a normal zoom, and simply isn't wide enough, though the wide angle lens itself costs more than a JVC body.. ! :/

  • True the JVC is sweet, but still considerably higher than a used XL H1. At least I wasn't able able to find one online. You are correct;however that new it is a better price.

  • Haven't seen your videos yet.

We actually proved the JVC was the right choice for us only a few weeks ago when we had to cover an event that started 1700h and the news were going on the air at 1830h.. Photographer handed me one memory card, I started editing, we swapped cards and he shot some more while I edited a bit, and we got it to the TV station 1815! :) With tape it wouldn't worked out.

  • Hey olahaldorvoll, All day today i compared videos on youtube that where filmed with the XL-H1 and the JVC-GY-HM700. And for some reason the Canon picture quality looked a lot better then the JVC. I love the idea that it is very compatible with Apples software Final Cut Pro and not recording to a tape but a card And how easy it is to transfer your clips to your Mac. What do you think? Can't wait to see your JVC videos..Did you get a chance to see any of mine..I am just a beginner..Thanks
