damn your betta spits like 2-3 bubbles per blow , mines 1-2 bubbles per blow :P lucky badstard ahha , plus my betta is slower

@JorJackie true!!! lol i left my skinny female with him in a jar n nothing happened for 3days until she suddenly got fatter n got that white thing under her belly shows that its egg related. thats when he started building the nest after that still is building it started today

i feel so bad, i now need to go destroy my babies nest that he has been spending most the day making and he is very proud of :( but its time to change some water :( and i dont have anything to keep it in while i do

I think she has to be ready as well (full of eggs) before you can put them together, otherwise he will kill her

put male in tank for 1 day, then next day add female but put her in a jar or floating betta holder in the middle of the tank, they will see each other but not be able to get to each other. then if the male starts flaring and female gets virtical bars put them together in the 10 gallon (minimum) tank and keep an eye on them, they probably will fight but if they dont hurt one another dont remove them. after a while he will build a nest and squeeze the eggs from her. and put them in the nest.
