Im trying to figure out what type of music is "the" music that is acceptable.
This is not the music I particularly like but how does that add to the corruption in our nature? Of course I heard these arguments in the 70's when I listened to Randy Stonehill, Petra, Larry Norman, Rez Band and then in the 80's with Stryper.
The message is still good. The music still speaks the message

So it goes to the "Glorify your God in every way" thing. YES IT'S IN THE BIBLE, BUT.., Let me tell you: This passage is so badly understood by christians today.
Satan has actually done a very nice job in making people think we glorify God if we just mention His name somewhere on the song. NO!!!
Don't you see... It's not just about what comes from our mouths... It's that there is the PASSION and SINCERITY for GOD!Words are cheap.

InSlaver - perhaps u don't understand - I wrote this song, I performed this song - I know the passion and sincerity involved in this song - the fact that you can't 'sense' it is irrelevant... as GOD knows my heart... and He knows what this song is for and about... I would be resentful against you for your words except I realize you are saying these things from YOUR point of view - which I will respect even though I disagree...
