Yes he was lazy and like to party, to bad he could have been real, real great. radar was world champ @ 17 years of age.

@41ofus turned pro so young, i believe under some duress from a father + family who needed the money, and i suspect resented traing etc and missing thus out on his youth. good looking charismatic fella of course= must have beeen hard for him.

Benitez could have been one of the all-time greats; he was notoriously a lazy fighter.
Very lackadaisical in training, as well as preparing for fights. Only trained for Leonard about 21/2 weeks - was partying the whole time in Vegas.

the announcer was John Condon., who was the voice of Madison Square Garden in its hey day in the sixties and 70's, I know this cause i fought the fight before this one a six rounder, Vito Anterfermo fought Willie Classen on same card and there was a riot after Vito got decision. Those were the days
