nice dancing...seems as though you're intrigued by weather cotastrophies...if you'd lost everything in NC during hurricane Fran in '96, rebuilt and lost it again in Floyd in '99, then you probably wouldn't be so enthusiastic!

I have been intrigued by hurricanes since 1958. In studying their history, I know that every house built on a barrier island or nearby from Virginia to Florida to Texas is going to be wrecked every few decades. People should not live on barrier islands; and if they do, they should expect severe damage periodically. By the way, my own house was totally wrecked by Andrew in 1992; I was pissed, but knew it was inevitable, because I live in Florida.
