Oh, and even though I personally think Jay-Z is doper than Payroll lyrically, my below comment when I said "he's no Jay-Z" was referring to the fact he's not and will never be at Jay-Z status and wasn't even close back then, just in case a bunch of y'all wanted to chime in and be like "This nigga Payroll was better than Jay". yah, this beef came up, when Kanye gave a beat the Payroll killed called Never Change and gave it to Jay z, as soon as he signed wit the Roc, he turned his back on the Chi cats he was working with.
