I'm just not a big fan on chris yet! He's got the voice, but i'm not a big fan of his tone! I'm probably just use to steve!

Thank you for posting. I am an old Chris Cooper groupie (lol) No but seriously I love his voice I remember when he used to sing for the Heartmen. Boy he has a beautiful voice and what better way to use it than to serve God. This group and all others are sure to reap the blessings of the Lord for their great spread of the word. <3

This new tenor is fine but is definitely NOT in the same league as Steve. Now I have not heard Brian Free so can't say how well his version is but I liked Steves the best of these 2.

tell ya the truth.....i didnt like steve....jay parrack is the all time Greatest....just cause im a young buck.....Brian Free is Good also....he proved that... Chris is ALOT higher than Steve!

Actually, Chris is not higher at all. He struggles for the high G at the end of When He Calls, and often doesn't even attempt it. He's a good tenor, but to say he is "ALOT higher than Steve" is inaccurate.
