Port Townsend Cruise 2011

I decided to do something I haven't done before: film and edit a long video. The Annual European Port Townsend Cruise hosted by Achtun!ng was coming up on March 6th, so I thought it would be a great idea to apply my project to the event.

Some of the locals from the Olympic Peninsula met up at 5:30 AM on the day of the cruise to get a little pre-convoy going. We got some coffee at White Cup Coffee in Sequim, then headed out to Marymoor Park in Redmond to meet up with the huge euro group. Once we got to the Park, tons of cars (in the hundreds) started showing up, and at about 10:30 AM, Achtun!ng got everyone together for a driver's meeting. We would all get in our cars and cruise out to Port Townsend, to enjoy the Food, Cars, and People.

So we set off, and eventually landed in the small town. The food was great (Waterfront Pizza), and it was fun hanging out with close friends and ones I haven't seen in awhile. The big meeting spot in Port Townsend was the Jefferson Fairgrounds.. it was pretty muddy there but it was still a great time.

If you haven't been to the Cruise yet, be sure to go next year! It's a great experience, and very laid back.

With that, I'll leave you all the video which took me 20+ hours in editing, but I really enjoyed it. I wish I had some decent image stabilization and lenses, but I'm just a broke college student haha. I hope all of you enjoy watching it. :)
