Are you a storm chaser? Check out http://ActionVids.blogspot.com

A thunderstorm rolled into the western Washington on the night of September 3, 2007 (Labor Day). There were over 200 flashes in the night sky. It also brought heavy rain clouds which dumped rain until the morning of the next day. Most of this footage was filmed from the top of Somerset in Bellevue. I do not know if anyone's power was knocked out.

Note: the audio does not always match the video, so if you're trying to count the distance, it may be a little off. Also, this video is highly edited; the lightning was actually striking about once every minute.
