The crane and a wall falls at the construction site of the new Yarmouth High School in Nova Scotia. This is the only recording of this event. Nobody was hurt. Thank God!

  • lol i get to go to that school. :D

  • @asta315 That's awesome. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart. lol. The investigation on the falling crane is still ongoing.

  • just watching the video but not being able to see the crane and it being winter I would bet there is a good chance the crane was setup on frozen soft ground. It's nearly impossible to determine good hard ground in the winter and with a heavy lift like that when you find out something is wring it is way to late. I also noticed he picked the panel way up in the air to pin the braces. We stopped doing that a long time ago. Pull the braces back with a lull.

  • Being an Ironworker and using cranes on a daily basis , this gives me realization of how quick something can drastically go wrong. So glad that no one was hurt. It could have been a tragedy.

  • yea just drove by there today and seen it flipped on its side...amazing someone got it on video
