Fabulous! Great rendition. I remember it well - Back when it was actually in the charts (or at least getting airplay) there was a group of students from the local art college who busked in Liverpool town centre doing this - right down to the speaking trumpet, tuba, lead hosepipe and monkey suits. Called themselves The Picasso Sisters (all blokes naturally) BTW Do you mind if I nick your version?

I'm not sure whether or not Monty Python used it, but Neil Innes of The Bonzos wrote it, and Innes was very closesly associated the the Bonzo bunch.
He even played three minor parts in the Holy Grail, and what else? Can't remember now. I really like this song no matter how ridiculously goofy it sounds LOL. It's GOOD satire.
