shpongle back with old and new sounds. this album is unique because of the drumset.

First time listening to songs from this album and always, chills that only Simon and Raja can produce. I even try to be critical of everything new they put out, waiting for them to falter. But I always end up lost inside their imagination in under a minute and become a slave to the music.

"trance band" would be a terrible way to describe shpongle.

He's played (at least once) a set here in Finland too, as both Hallucinogen and Shpongle.

In the album notes Simon wrote:
9:26 we went to the Brahma temple in Pushkar where we recorded a blind beggar singing a blessing in Ganesh. It has a very particular meditative kind of emotion that I love

Amazing!
