  • @gangesex pushing dirt more than 150 feet is a waste

  • This D9G is what help built Caterpillar's reputation for large bulldozers.

  • @yukondude3 Amen

  • good ol mechanical machines. if she breaks you can fixer right there. no computer chips or anything. love these machines!!!

  • seriously, it's not cheap. But if you are good in the fabricating shop you can build your own plant CHEAP that you can process your own gravel, then just scour the buy/sell for a cheap old excavator for 8000-9000 bucks. Then youre in. you gotta post a bond and get approval from mines too, but, really its NOT a big deal here in BC. anyway I suppose its all relative to what money you have to start with.

  • i would love to have a nice piece of land and a operation like this. to bad it costs so much to get started.

  • A beautiful D9G Dozer. Thats what we need at our show. We're movinbg dirt to the plants from a little further though, so a rock truck/hoe setup is used. We still have a TD20E dozer and a 980B loader though for at the plant. Great post. Keep up the good work!
