Winner of the Cascade Blues Association's 'Muddy' Award for Best New Act, Kolvane have been packing houses and putting smiles on faces. They've also been responsible for a large amount of voluntary exercise on the dance floor. www.rosecitykings.com Kolvane guitar (lead),vocals (lead) has been writing and performing original material for over two decades. Descending from a long line of Baptist preachers he is known for his passionate delivery of his songs and searing slide guitar work. Jonathan Chase bass, vocals (backup) started playing bass professionally in the Blues genre at only sixteen. Chase has nearly a decade of experience playing with many well-known Portland bands. He also progressed his skill while studying under the renowned bassist Victor Wooten. Steve Kerin keyboard hails from Lafayette Louisianan. Introduced to Piano at the age of 4, Steve is a monster at Blues and New Orleans style piano as well as a fine singer. While Steve studied classical music in college, today he identifies his greatest influences as Dr. John, Professor Longhair and James Booker. Steve's professional work and personal musical interest extends into many genres including Rock, Classical, Jazz and Blues. Thom Sullivan drums, vocals (backup) is best known for his thunderous rock'n'roll style and is equally capable of laying down a fat funky groove. In 16 years of playing the drums professionally, Thom has performed with acts such as Bigelf and the Exies and has also opened for The Nixons, Weezer, and Dogstar.

  • I am glad they are in a venue near me, I am in Portland, OR and am very happy to live in a place where I can see great bands and I just saw them on Halloween it was a party, they had played at that place 3 out of 4 years in a row.
