Apple doesn't want real third party browsers like Opera Mobile or Firefox Mobile in their app store, only Safari-based browsers. They're too scared of the competition.

Only Opera Mini is approved by them, but it's not a real browser, Opera's servers compress the web pages, and then they get sent to your Opera Mini. Because of that it's almost impossible to implement pinch to zoom.

As soon as Opera Mobile is approved by Apple, it'll wipe the floor with Safari, as it does on your Windows PC.

I got this on my tab right now and Opera Mobile 11.1 is still booting up the old bloated UI for my tablet. Help! It's totally not using that optimized UI in the video. Pfft. I can't see a "tablet mode" anywhere!

Opera has zero keyboard lag on the honeycomb tablet but it needs a better bookmark menu and also remembering cclosed tabs during the last session. Private browsing would be a plus.
