This month we take a look at a year in the 90's. This was about the year I started watching regularly. I was so young back then and really got into this show. I remember being affected by Maureen's death.
1993 was a year of many crazy stories: Nadine's "pregnancy", Buzz's return to town, Eve over the edge, George torment's Springfield, and many more. As I went through the episodes I was in awe of the cast. It was such a great mix of talented actors. The show really knew how to intertwine the lives of these people. That year we gained a few major actors/characters like Marj Dusay as Alexandra, Marcy Walker as Tangie Hill, Justin Deas as Buzz Cooper. We also lost a few good characters like Maureen, Harley, and Mallet. What was your favorite 1993 moment?

  • Omg this takes me back to summer of '93 when I was 13 & Jurassic Park & GL were MY LIFE.

    Good times...

  • Very nice video...I was 12 at the time and had been watching with my mother since I was 4 or 5 years old. I remember so many of these moments it just made me smile. Thank you for the collage of memories.

  • I started watching more to in 1993...I was 13 at the time.Grew up with the CBS soaps since birth. My 2 fav moments were Maureen confronting ED in January and Who Shot Roger in DEcember

  • @Tigger97498 Oh my God you are so wrong. Marcy Walker was not pretty enough and she was only three years younger than Barbara. People always say she was too old but she was only four years older than kimberly simms. I think she did a great job and people don't give her enough credit. She held on to a lot of the sex appeal that Simms gave to the role. I still have to say Kimberly Simms was the best Mindy. I've never seen a recast come on and be better in a role than the original. Simms did it!

  • And I couldn't make it though without crying a little...again, haha!

  • My favorite moment is Jenna loading a gun and scarring Buzz. She states something like: "As long as I am alive I will not let anyone hurt so much as one hair on your head" Jezz was a great couple!

  • @Robansuefarm Just realized if you don't know me, you probably don't know that I often hold that Dorothy's dress for the finale of Golden Girls is quite possibly the ugliest wedding dress of all time. Google it if you don't believe me and don't remember it.

  • @Tigger97498 Not to dimiss Marcy Walker, but frankly just about ANYBODY would have been a better choice for Mindy than Barbara Crampton who was too old, dressed too young to try to disguise the fact, and just wasn't suited for the role. She had a "name" but not much else.

  • Thanks for sharing....awesome clips, and music. Great trip down memory lane. One of the best times on the show.

  • I really enjoyed the Nadine/Billy/Vanessa triangle. That's what got me hokked up on GL. And then Holly and Roger at the cliffhouse!
