Our Citadel Engineering Design team came up with an innovative solution for creating a compliant surface for our FTIR Multitouch console. It consists of a 0.01" thick silicone rubber sheet (which we bought from stockwell.com) overlaid on the acrylic glass, and then a 225 ND frost Lee Filter on top of that. This produces a fairly clean (almost industrial quality) touchscreen.
