  • AMEN!

  • Look I do not care anymore to continue peppering your video with my comments. Let us agree to disagree on the KJV. If it helps you get closer to God then all the power to you.

    Take care

  • you are correct about the Latin Vulgate (1382) and Textus receptus ( 1516 )and i was incorrect about what i stated.

in my zeal to defend God's preserved word i made a statement regarding the order of the texts that was incorrect.

  • check all your earlier comments please

  • Luk 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

  • "Also, God did not promise us the bible, he promised us the Holy Spirit which we have. It is man who has made the bible to be the only word of God"

why are you arguing against the importance of the Bible.?

do you even know why or what your arguing against anymore?

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

  • He promised to preserve his "words" not the original copies.

"You see I don't believe he would have been so careless as to force us to relay on copies of copies for 2000 years! "

well i am afraid that is exactly what he has done and i praise him for it. I do not see this as being "careless".

  • sometimes they have been moved to mere footnote status other times they have been removed completely.

  • Also, God did not promise us the bible, he promised us the Holy Spirit which we have. It is man who has made the bible to be the only word of God. And BTW, borrowing your logic for once. If God did promise us the bible, why didn't he preserve us the original manuscripts for the ENGLISH NATION so that there would be no descent on which version is the more correct one? You see I don't believe he would have been so careless as to force us to relay on copies of copies for 2000 years!

  • I still don't understand what you mean by more reliable? When have I ever said the KJV wasn't as reliable as the NIV? It is you not I making this accusation. I believe these two versions are the same in context but when it comes to clarity, clearly the NIV wins hands down. It is written in the common tongue where the KJV is not. In 100 to 200 years their will need to be another translation to keep up with the ever evolving english language.
